Think 92 deserves it over 19, especially given the format, but whatever. It's nice to be so well-represented.

I'd argue that if you were going to build the All-Metro team at this point based solely on results to date this season, the Caps may have every position locked down sans RW.

Ovie-Kuznetsov-Zuccarello
Alzner - Carlson
Holtby

Edit: maybe Okposo over Zuc?

Isn't 5 pm still fairly irresponsible? By the time the game is over at around 8 o'clock there will probably be already decent snow accumulation. Roads will be a mess and anyone not living in the city could find themselves stranded on an impassable road heading out into the suburbs.

Fans are responsible for their own safety. Don't feel safe, don't go. This move is probably more about the Ducks travel schedule than packing the arena.

The problem is, Anaheim isnt gonna fly across the country for one game. They need to get it in now

It is a fairly optimistic notion that the Ducks will be able to get out of town late Friday evening. UA is shutting down their ops at Dulles and DCA in the afternoon.

They probably have a hunch.

Not sure where they are headed next, but maybe they'll take a train.

Detroit is next.

There's probably a logistical reason for the change. I would've expected something even earlier, like 1pm. Maybe they couldn't arrange to have another plane or train any earlier. Also don't know how long a train takes and if that's doable since they play the next day.

Snow is supposed to get super heavy by night time tomorrow. Even with that early schedule there is a chance Anaheim doesn't get to take their flight to Detroit.
