Screw him.Booing Panarin in 2024 is so lame
Screw him.Booing Panarin in 2024 is so lame
Old news. It's been almost half a decade by now.Screw him.
Thats the package Jarmo was seeking so you’ll probably have to drop the 2nd rounder from your demandRoslovic.....2 1st Rounders a 2nd rounder and an "A" prospect at the TDL. Book it.
So do we not boo PLD either? Or Carter?Old news. It's been almost half a decade by now.
He never lead us on, didn't go behind our backs, played his ass off for us to the bitter end. Booing him for making a free agency decision 5 years ago feeds in to that lame victim "nobody wants to play here" routine some Jackets fans love to engage inWish they boo’d louder
So do we not boo PLD either? Or Carter?
Now those are some situations worth holding a career long grudge over. Way different storiesSo do we not boo PLD either? Or Carter?
I agree with everything except the first sentence. He totally led them on. He even negotiated with them down to the last minute before going to market. He never lead us on, didn't go behind our backs, played his ass off for us to the bitter end. Booing him for making a free agency decision 5 years ago feeds in to that lame victim "nobody wants to play here" routine some Jackets fans love to engage in
sure, but the implication was “it was 5 years ago. Move on” not the context of how they leftI don't mind booing Panarin, but the obvious difference there is that Panarin never quit on the team.
You could argue his personal choice has screwed this organization for several years and led us today. He never lead us on, didn't go behind our backs, played his ass off for us to the bitter end. Booing him for making a free agency decision 5 years ago feeds in to that lame victim "nobody wants to play here" routine some Jackets fans love to engage in
Those aren't separate to me, some things warrant moving on from, others don't. PLD derailed and damaged the franchise while under a contract he signed. I'll be pissed about that 10 years after the fact. I'm over Panarin by now.sure, but the implication was “it was 5 years ago. Move on” not the context of how they left
Yeah, I get that mindset. Agree to disagree I guessThose aren't separate to me, some things warrant moving on from, others don't. PLD derailed and damaged the franchise while under a contract he signed. I'll be pissed about that 10 years after the fact. I'm over Panarin by now.
Am I misremembering by thinking he genuinely considered re-signing here but his girl wanted New York?I agree with everything except the first sentence. He totally led them on. He even negotiated with them down to the last minute before going to market.
That was a rumor. I don’t think it was ever confirmedAm I misremembering by thinking he genuinely considered re-signing here but his girl wanted New York?
I remember last off-season Portzline saying Jarmo knew from the time of the trade that Panarin was going to explore free agency and wanted to play in under big city lightsI agree with everything except the first sentence. He totally led them on. He even negotiated with them down to the last minute before going to market.
But yes. He did his job. And did it well. For me, that has nothing to do with being “the victim.” He made his decision that he had a right to. The fans have a right to hate him for that decision. That’s sports
