Why did Stan overwork his number one goalie in the playoffs. Look at his save percentage. How can one of your players get a star. He was minus four on the night. No points either.

Womp womp.

That was a dud of a sendoff for our vets. It'll be different next year without the likes of Smitty, Amadio or Wood. All three have been active leaders on this team since the team moved here. This summer is gut-check time for some of these guys.

On a positive note, Amadio's playoffs likely aren't done yet. The Ontario Reign are the defending Calder Cup champs and are sitting pretty on top of the conference right now. Hope he's got enough left in the tank for another playoff run.

If Riley Bruce is on the top pairing we'll be getting a great player at the 2017 draft.

I think we see a few guys move out next year and an OA defenseman coming in.

I think Riley has been hurt for most of the season. If he shows up healthy to camp I think he's going to be a strong top pairing guy. Same re: guys moving out, I just see goalie rather than D as we basically have the same group save replacing Wood with Snell.
