Where will Daws play this season if the OHL season is canned? He needs to play so a backup in a mens league probably isn't the best solution. Maybe Jr European league.
I don't think there will be an AHL season without fans in the stands. Maybe the AHL can reach a deal with the NHL to have the teams practice a the NHL arenas indefinately.he can play in the AHL I believe since he is already 19 and will be 20 in Deceember
You mean he wouldn't be better than Cory right now?Look at the expanding middle on Marty.
So the Vatanen trade potentially got us a good middle 6 player in Kuokannen and the top rated north American game prospect in Daws. I hope Daws pans out and plays behind Blackwood for a bit potentially challenging him for the #1 spot. This can be an awesome trade that we soured on back in March.
We could end up with Vats again since he's still out there....
Do they use Olympic ice or NA Ice? The angles alone would be such a pain of an adjustment. On top of the culture and language differences.Fantastic.
But as I asked in another thread, why did he have such a poor season in a D league?
Fantastic.

The DEL is not a D league. It's worse than the NHL, KHL, SEL and AHL for sure, but it's unclear to me where it ranks after that - Finland, Switzerland, and the Czech league are all pretty close to it. It's clearly superior to the ECHL.
That said, he played 10 games. Anyone can have a poor 10 games, or have 1 or 2 bad games ruin their statline.

Stutzle, Reichel, and Peterka were all drafted out of the DEL last year, I could be wrong on this, but I believe it's seen as a league on the rise. I wouldn't worry about it too much. He could have also played behind a poor defense.
