BPA. At this point, most of these guys aren't going to be NHL regulars, so you have to disregard when your current needs are.

Check out Ryan Rehill's +/- compared to the other defenseman on Kamloops. Just judging from his stats it seems like he likes to drop the gloves and is an excellent defensive defenseman.

I'd only imagine they've seen Watson for the past couple of years since he's teammates with Ryan Kujawinski. Knock seems to be size and his ability to translate to the pros.

Another defenseman is frustrating but Rehill is a steal at 131. A lot had him going in the third round. I'm sure he was the top ranked on the Devil's board and they drafted BPA.

I was responding to the fact that he posted four defensemen have been taking the three drafts when fans are here moaning about the abudance of defensemen drafted by the defensemen and his chart shows 11 forwards.

You are right, why aren't they drafting Crosbys and Malkins in later rounds is beyond me.

It's that our defensemen prospects/young guys are much better and project to at least play in the NHL, if not excel. Larsson, Gelinas, Merrill, Santini, Severson are all expected to be the NHL and make an impact. Then Helgeson, Scarlett, and even Burlon, now Jacobs as well, are also good prospects. The forward pool isn't empty, but it's filled with question marks. Tons of question marks, and while I'm optimistic on them there are still a lot of uncertainties.
