Plymouth of the OHL is owned by the Carolina Hurricanes owner. So they tend to take an inordinate amount of guys from there. This year is no different, they took Nedeljkovic in the 2nd round then John Wesley (son of former Hurricane/Whaler Glen) in the 4th.

Nashville took fourth year eligible Viktor Arvidsson a few picks ago.

I was hoping we could get two Skellefteå kids(Aho and Arvidsson). Arvidsson is small but his numbers are impressive.

One of my favorite lines was from the 1989 Draft. I think Bryan Murray was GM of the Caps when they took Olie Kolzig with the 19th pick then took Byron Dafoe 35th. After the Dafoe pick, Murray jokingly yelled out "WHAT?!? Did we give up on the other guy already?"

he didnt fall to 71, hes ranked 88 among NA by CSS. that would put him at roughly 4th-5th round

I was curious to see how much of Arvidsson's production was as a result of playing with Oscar Moller (former LA King) and Joakim Lindstrom (former SEL leading scorer, signed with St. Louis). Seems like a decent gamble for Nashville at that spot.

My boy Chase de Leo ended up in Winnipeg. In my nerdy fantasy league, we do our draft before the real one. All of my recent picks seem to end up in Winnipeg (Trouba/Morrissey/Comrie/de Leo).
