Need to pencil Ryan in there somewhere. Which means we will roll with 3-3C's again this year. Ugh.
I really think Hanzal would fit well here.

So you consider Rask and Staal to be 3C's but then advocate signing Hanzal?

On a good team, Rask and Staal are 3C's I believe, yes.
I think Hanzal is above that.

Not with you on that one at all, especially Staal is just flat out better then Hanzal at this point. All 3 are ideally #2s but I'd probably go Staal > Hanzal > Rask, especially given Hanzal's propensity to be a bandaid boy.

You're probably right. I've always liked Hanzal, so maybe I'm jaded.
Need a solution of some sort for 2-3 years, then we can hopefully roll out Necas 1C, Roy 2C.
The fact we are looking at the same lineup is concerning offensively.

The next 2-3 weeks of player movement will tell us a lot about what we're looking at. Trade availability, prices, UFA's etc.
