The deflection and insta-faceoff loss didn't help that PK goal given up. That is where we miss the banished.

The Devils were good in the 1st too. I wasn’t aware it was a bad thing to make a push to tie a game up in the 3rd.

Luke has struggled plenty of late. This game wasn’t an example of that.

Devils indeed controlled play but were very sloppy. That’s from lacking some finishers on the bottom 3 lines, Carolina shutting down the first line and not getting much production from the D corps which is understandable at the moment

It is what it is. Play another good gm in Tampa, get some pts and rest up

Dude we were barely ever able to enter the zone under control and were never dangerous until we pulled the goalie save for a couple seconds here or there. They stood us up at the blue line and gave us nothing.

We didn't have a shot for half of the second period.

We could have 'controlled' a game like that for forty periods and never scored.

We can't figure out the Canes PK. It was exactly the same as the playoffs last year, and even the regular season if I'm not mistaken.

They're a great PK unit, to the point where I think they're outscoring us when we're on the PP going back to last year.

This is the guy that goes to all the road games. He's about 5 foot 3 and has a ton of tattoos. Sleeves and legs. I posted about him the night I went to the Panthers game two weeks ago. I was right behind outside before the doors opened. He was talking to some dude. He's one of those f***in phonies that talks to everybody. I don't know how he has all the money to go all these away games, he's gotta be a trust fund baby. Or he's a 35 year old millionaire. Whatever. He was talking about how he got a tattoo in Tampa and that he just drove down and he was gonna drive to Boston. I don't like these types, so I'm glad they stay away from me. Thank god for being socially awkward. These types don't come up and bug me.

And he lurks this board, because he was in my section and I stopped going up the steps between periods to let him get out and he gave me a dirty look and didn't even thank me for letting him out. Probably because he read this forum at some point between then and the 2 hours before that when I saw him outside and posted how I was right behind him.

He was at the game last year in Sunrise (the second one) and sat in my section. He was also at the Tampa game where Bratt had the hat trick the next night. I didn't see him that night in person, but that bucket hat that Bratt put on after the hat trick was his.

Apparently he's very famous on the internet. He was chanting ''Let's Go Brandon!'' during the Florida game last year. He also has a Trump 24 Devils jersey lol.

And I think I even read he's banned from Prudential Center? And I thought somebody posted that Keith Kinkaid has a restraining order against him for stalking?

And I also remember someone on here (@njdevil26 I think?) that he's possibly in trouble for some things..... He's a sketchy character.

Just like the Trump jersey, he seems to want to get a rise out of people and that's why he wore the McLeod jersey tonight. Wouldn't surprise me if the motherf***er specifically got that jersey for TONIGHT. The guy knows what he's doing.

I didn't even know he existed until last March at the Panthers game. I don't know how he ended up in my section two different times, considering I didn't even sit nearly in the same section lol.

I know more about him from this board than anywhere. He seems like an okay guy if you just see him for a second, but I think he's a phony. I heard him talking to this other guy and he was really talking a lot and the other guy was barely saying anything, but he didn't seem to mind either.

I've seen people talk about him on here more than anything.

He wore that jersey on purpose. He knew what he was doing. I wouldn't be surprised if he had that made or bought it in the last day or two, but I can't say for sure.
