Welp, time to rest everybody. Locked into second place now.
They still have a shot, but need to beat Canucks and make good of the game in hand.

But in practice, not sure whether playing LA or Nashville makes that much difference. They have to beat both.

Utterly disgusting
No chance against either Vegas or Kings

A team of no goaltending,
How a team can lose to a team 27th in the standings
Pure garbage - the Edmonton Ollers
The 3rd Arizona goal was a atrocious by Pickard not an NHL goalie
Pure garbage

Played a good second half. Wish we could of started better and not given them so much life. Oh well.

18 posts of crying about everything. Might be a new record for being added to my ignore list.

Yeah, not sure how smart it is to put a slow Perry with McLeod and Holloway who just got back from the A. That line looked awkward.Mcleod needs to stop being a perimeter player. He was effective around the net and along the boards during that 16 game win streak. Again I find his play too soft most of the time. .
Thought Kane and Pickard had great games tonight.
Seems like McLeod with Kane and Perry was working fine so of course we don't stick with it. Kane had a decent game. Sure having some bad luck out there.. post and a crossbar in one sequence. Hockey after all being a strange sport with games decided on inches and bounces.

Not sure why slow footed Henrique was out there 3 on 3.

Still controll our own destiny if we win out... So it's ok. Huge game tomorrow
Not many better options for Knoblach. This is an old and slow team that gets exposed routinely in 3 on 3. They can hide that a little playing McDavid as much as they do in OT but on a night where he isn’t there it’s got a be an awful feeling for that coaching staff to look down the bench for players that can survive 5 minutes of OT let alone score a winner for you. Good thing we won’t see that in the playoffs.

Better for the Oilers to not win the Pacific. I wouldn't want to face Nashville in the first round.
LA or Vegas are better options.

Vegas could still pass LA

The Preds have cooled off a bit after their big streak. I actually wouldn't mind facing them.

I think securing home ice for the first two rounds is the most important thing though. Our home record is pretty insane under Knoblauch.

Nashville is arguably the best matchup we could have in the entire league. Oilers have beat the predators 10 of the last 12 games.
Plus it just has to destroy them a little each time to see that their own management gave up on them and gave us Ekholm. That would drive a dagger in some...

In anycase anytime I watch the Preds, which is only the Oilers game the Oilers are smashing them.
