It feels as if he and Soucy have had a lot of problems moving the puck out of the zone. Again, some of that is his D partner, but on the ice for zero GA is impressive, so no harm, no foul I suppose.

The foul in this case would be the excessive energy spent by everyone on the ice when these two are primary causes of the Wild being pinned in their own zone.

That creates energy deficit that can lead to lower quality play as a game/series goes on.

That said, they recognize the problem and fight like hell the entire time, they may get pinned in, but they go through it swinging, and don't do anything excessively stupid in the process. Could be worse, could be Olofsson and his brain farts.

Yes, I would still rather have Soucy-Prosser bottom pairing than swapping in Olofsson, Murphy, or whoever else. The current bottom pairing can at least mix it up a little bit with the Jets better players.
