Slaf scored again tonight so I'll break out the Slaf Moses again. Suzuki, Caufield and Pez wanted in so I added them as well.
Love that "Greasebag" qualifier -- gonna steal for the thread title.Greasebag Panthers are going to bully the Leafs in the playoffs.
How many now? I was thinking about that earlier tonight. Suzuki takes a lot of negatives on our PP and when we pull the goaltender.#1 in NHL for giving up SHGA
Yeah he just needs to clean up some of those cross ice passes. The one he gave up on the PP was a killer.I think that was Slaf’s best physical game of his career. He was finishing checks, initiating contact, absorbing hits really well. He looked to have a target and fought through it. Very different from the player we saw last season.

Not necessarily his fault his defensive numbers would look a heck of a lot better otherwise.

In fairness, it's hard to judge when you see who he has playing in front of him. As the team gets better. I have a feeling you'll see another level with Monty.I dont believe that Monte will take us to the Promised Land. Hes ok but just ok
He’s been the best player in the league this month.Suzuki played him even up tonight despite giving up the shortie which was no fault of his.
He just capped off the best month of his career despite losing Monahan.
That is demonstrating awesome leadership. Great Job.
He won’t be with us for too long. End of next year maybe.Amazing how insignificant Anderson is game in and game out
Once he actually realizes that he’s the biggest man on the ice, he’s going to be a freak. Watch him train and remind yourself he’s still a teen haha. It’s… not goodTonight was our 10th shorthanded goals against in 60 games. That's a lot.

I find that he lacks technical prowess in anticipating the game. He appears to be a more reactive goalieIn fairness, it's hard to judge when you see who he has playing in front of him. As the team gets better. I have a feeling you'll see another level with Monty.
Meant to happen when you have Matheson à pointeTonight was our 10th shorthanded goals against in 60 games. That's a lot.
Yeah I know what you mean.Roy played 8:39 and the game tonight looked too fast for him. Not a big deal as he is developing but tonight you could tell he wasn't comfortable
I've rarely seen Monty that pissed....
Monty with another strong effort!!Zero points would've been nice but Suzuki Slaf and Newhook scoring are all acceptable goals
There is no way to know if he can until he has a solid tem in front of him.I dont believe that Monte will take us to the Promised Land. Hes ok but just ok
Yeah I know what you mean. I've actually started laughing out loud watching some of his manoeuvres out there.I feel bad for disliking Gallagher but it has more to do with Bergevin than him. He looks really bad out there, he needs to retire but I know it won't happen.
As an old-timer I’ll compare Monty to Gilles Meloche. And I mean that in only the most positive way! Total Gamer!!In fairness, it's hard to judge when you see who he has playing in front of him. As the team gets better. I have a feeling you'll see another level with Monty.
I didn’t feel they got pushed around. Gallagher got rocked but because of his now. Dumb head down play. Overall I thought Habs held their own.No push back from sad sack Canadiens. Pushed around again.
