I'm just surprised they didn't name it after Steph.
She did start the Divas Revolution after all! She's WWE's version of Rosa Parks!
In case people's sarcasm detector is broken.
You’re right, but ignorance is tough to feign as an excuse these days and he put those girls in front of a camera. It’s kind of like the idea that if they didn’t know they should have known.
It's totally not an excuse for the company. I'm just saying the women who sat in front of the camera talking about her are the ones who should be given some slack.
That is the most WWE thing in the history of WWE.
What are they going to put on the trophy now?
Which was worse? The way they handled the Benoit thing or this?
It's not about which boat people are in but the side of the river they're on. You can rank who is worse but it doesn't actually matter in the end, bad is bad.
Warrior is just an example of a guy who WWE honoured recently despite being bad. There are guys WWE haven't hired because of their homophobic and racist views in the past, along with firing some who've expressed them while under contract. WWE would never hire Warrior today, but they'll overlook it because he used to be a star.
No argument from me. In fact, if they wanted to ever give me the Warrior award, I'd totally decline it. It still doesn't change the fact he never actually did anything wrong.
One guy I believe is getting a raw deal is Hogan. What he did seems to pale in comparison to what others did. I also believe Hogan's offense is forgivable and pardonable. An apology and maybe a donation to inner city groups, and then TaDa! His reputation is restored.
Guys who have killed others or have beaten others STILL get honored by the company. Yet one person who did porn after her career ended, and another person happened to spew off a racist tirade while being privately filmed while having sex get treated as if they're truly evil.
Whoever is the Chief of WWE's moral police totally sucks at their job.
