Why would they care about Punk going to Bellator? He's a punching bag and not a young one at that.
He's not really going to boost ticket sales for an event where he shows up and gets sliced up.

CFO George Barrios strongly indicated that the company would be working with ICW and Progress in the U.K. They are deals in place for both where they would be on the WWE Network if Vince gives the okay. On 5/22, when asked about adding content and in specific ROH, he said, “Yeah, I think there’s something there. It’s always priority and what once comes first. We recently announced a deal with ICW and Progress, which are wrestling promotions in the U.K. So we’re thinking about the best way to utilize that content. As you know, we’ve been fairly active over the years in purchasing wrestling libraries, video libraries, a lot of which now you can see on the network. We think there’s a home for that, and it just a matter of priority.
Goldust vs. R-Truth isn't expected to happen at Extreme Rules and it could have a quick blowoff since it's not a main event feud, apparently.
I don't see why they couldn't give them a few minutes on the PPV in an Extreme Rules match to end the program.
