Yeah I believe so too. There's a pop missing in his skating, he doesn't seem to have that ability to play at speed with perfect control that makes him so shifty.

Justin Bourne in the Athletic today speculated that he may be injured, could certainly help explain why Marner hasn't looked all that hot this series so far (save for a few flashes of brilliance early on)

Has Mitch Marner been kidnapped and swapped out with a player from the OHL?
For the last five games, the guy wearing number 16 has been a complete non factor.
Does his agent still believe he deserves Auston Mathews money or should he be spending his time searching for the real Mitch Marner?

He was solid in Game 3 and blocked all those shots at the end...he’s had a rough go since.

Boston's #1 line is better then the Leaf's #1 line. The only way Marner gets room is his teammates make it for him.
