Well, combined with his GR SOG, he leads. Not counting Sproul's time in GR, Lettieri then leads in shots.

They add a lot of what we need. Speed, offensive creativity (Chytil), PKing (Lettieri). Both would be good additions at the expense of DD

Exactly, DD needs to sit and Letteri can also provide offense and he's not afraid to shoot the puck.

Play Chytil 2/3 of the games in HFD until end of January at least. Not more than 2/3. It should be a fireable offense to release him to the WJC. Then call up up with say 15-20 games to go in the NHL, if he seems like he is ready for it.

Fireable offense? To play for his nation and lead a team in the tournament where pretty much everyone will still be older than Filip? Not sure I'd agree.

Kovazub- Hehe maybe a bit of an exaggeration on my part.

But my experience of AHL/NHLers being released to the WJC is just not good. Bad conditions for them to do well, tough interruption during the season, etc. The kid got enough on his plate as is, IMO.

At least the WJC is in NA, if it was in Europe I basically would have been serious with the fireable offense part...
