Chytil is NOT playing tonight. Just glancing at box score. Wonder if they're holding him out for another game just to be certain he's 100%

Looks like Hartford signed Charles Williams (G) to a PTO. He's the backup to Georgiev tonight.

Tied it up late in the third. Increases his team lead in goals.

Sproul has 6 SOG, interestingly enough.

6 goals in 14 AHL games is not something I would've expected from Lettieri going into this season. I guess make it 7 in 15 now

Williams was released from his PTO.

Odd. Not really sure why they signed him to a PTO, had him be back up on the same day, and then release him from his PTO the same day.

Must have been an emergency.

Yeah something must have been wrong with Nell and since Greenville played earlier in the day they couldn't get anyone up in time.

In the ECHL they do the emergency backup thing all the time, since they don't have an affiliate to recall players from. You don't see it as much in the AHL since they generally can get a guy from the ECHL to the rink in time.

Can't say I've watched any Pack games, but Lettieri looked good and hungry in preseason. Any chance we see him if there's a few injuries?

He is definitely an option. Aside from Chytil, I don't see anyone ahead of him, when it comes to prospects.

I'd love to see Lettieri get a shot with the big club. I thought his performance in pre-season was enough to keep him up in the first place. He seemed to be very good at finding soft areas of the ice and had a quick release. Never looked completely outmatched in board battles either, despite his size.

They did. Brooks said that Chytil was getting over an illness and MAY play this weekend.

He will play when he's ready. McCambridge knows what kind of prospect he has in his hands. No punishing here.
