No, hes at 50%... a lot of teams could had. A ttrade of yamamoto + 5th for Nyquist could been done by oilers. Easy.

That could be done - it looks like Jackets haven't been willing to take cap dumps though, at least they wouldn't in the Boston deal that fell through.

Guerin has dome some good things in his short tenure as GM and than he has done some real bone headed ones. Does he actually think burning some mid round picks for underwhelming 2nd line players is really going to help Minnesota ?

doesn't really hurt though...we will have some healthy experienced NHL players for the playoffs. or we should. not happy about it but not sad either.

Decent player with salary retained for a 5th, one of which was recently gotten for just as little money.

I won't be one of the Wild fans complaining about this.

So far the Wild have 2 players and 2 picks in, for two equivalent picks out.

What are the Wild even trying to do here? Get an extra playoff game worth of revenue? Their other moves have been burning their cap space to facilitate trades for other teams. If you're gonna get depth pieces at least go for bumping Sam Steel out of your top 6 instead of midding wingers to get lost in the Greenway/Foligno/Duhaime/Dewar middling winger vortex

When did Sam Steel last play a game? It’s been awhile.
