Even before tonight, I had no idea where people were getting this notion that Leighton was any better than Darling. Their comparable sample size is literally ****ing zero.

Crawford was the biggest reason the team got past the Blues and Wild in 2014. He was fantastic while much of the rest of the team was having a nap.

Is that sarcasm too? Because that's pretty funny considering he is one of two goalies with 2 Stanley Cups currently playing in the NHL.

Yes the goalie that is carried by the team to win two cups, go watch game 6 and 7 vs the Wings in 13, the soft goals allowed will make you wanna throw up, and lets discuss the LA series that cost the Hawks the cup in 14 when he allowed the following amount of goals which mostly were soft

Games 1-7:

1
6
4
5
4
3
5

If that is not losing the cup for your team I dont know what is.

There is also Nashville last year...

Hahahahaha he got carried to the cup.
That is too delusional to even argue about.

You cant argue with ten minute a game highlights that do a good job for memory refreshing, go watch the LA series for yourself. Delusional as an empty insult or actual numbers and highlights to back up my statements.

Crawford was not good that series, but it's incredibly inaccurate (and stupid) to say he wets the bed every playoffs. You should be embarrassed.

I gave you examples with the exact series where he messed up every year... Stupid or fact?

Not to mention Quick wasn't a hell of a lot better himself in that series.

And I've agreed with you that there have been times when he played poorly, but the logical thing to do is look at his playoff resume and stats as a whole and not ignore the times he was fantastic.

So yes, pointing out a few series as evidence that he "wets the bed every playoffs" is stupid.

Every goalie in the league, ever, has messed up once or twice in their career. Most don't win 2 Stanley Cups in 3 years.

PSH MAN. Crow was just a lucker dog to get carried all the way to those cups. Shutting Tampa out in game 6 last year was just all luck and the team carried him. He only stopped Stamkos on that breakaway chance because Toews and Co. willed him to do it.

Many Hawk fans have difficulty accepting that Crawford is an average goalie who generally is as good as the team in front of him. That will never change no matter how many softies he has relinquished in the past or will let in going forward.

Now that said, he is very good positionally when he is on his game and is having a fine season. His best in fact - he has improved his lateral movement and ability to scramble after the first save, though it still isn't up there with the elite. Fingers crossed that he can continue his good play into the post season.

Stopped 80 of 82 shots over the last 3 games of the SCF to win the cup... wets the bed when it matters.

That's honestly just a laughably bad assessment and not even worth arguing.

Hes not just an average goalie. That's a ridiculous thing to say.

Crawford's NHL-best high danger sv% and other assorted fantastic numbers are really just attributable to the Blackhawks team in front of him that bleeds scoring chances against and has allowed among the most shots against in the NHL over the past several seasons.

"Average." Sighing this hard hurts.

Shhhh, he has Toews in front of him. Any goalie would be good with Toews in front of them, even though Toews is extremely overrated and is carried by Keith. But that Keith guy is only good because he gets bailed out by his goaltender. Hawks are overrated.
