Goodbye world.

Also, hope Leighton plays over Darling.

Ha? He played a pretty good game last night and we need him with some games under his belt and ready for the playoffs in the case Crawford lays his yearly egg like last year vs Nashville or the year before vs LA that lost us the cup...

This is a HUGE deal. Probably explains why a lot of pucks are getting past him of late.

I frankly don't want to see Darling in net much. If Crow's injury is significant, this team is a first round exit in the playoffs.

But what was the cause of the injury? Is Rise Against on tour?

If the skaters don't pick it up they are a week away from being the first wild card. Ugh.

Yep. The Hawks had a 5 point lead in the division and a 20 plus point lead on Nashville during the streak.

They now have a 5 point lead on Nashville - who is hot.

So long as it's a minor injury for Crow, this has nothing but the makings of an okay situation. Crow gets sorely needed rest, Darling gets more start to improve, and if need be Leighton gets some time and a chance to be our playoff backup if Darling falters.

Did you expect them to extend those margins after the streak? Water finds its level...

I can't think of Leighton without all those soft goals in the 2010 SCF coming to mind right away. Particularly the cup winner.
