Which one provides the offensive pop?

All 3, sorry if Austin Czarnik isn't here for you anymore. Oh and you can stop your dreaming if you think he is getting sent to Providence, JJ isn't paying almost 4 million for a minor leaguer.

Haha Czarnik? When did I say I want Czarnik on the team?

Beleskey is useless. Schaller is growing on me lately and I think he deserves a spot on the fourth.

Schaller-Nash-Kuraly wouldn’t be bad. Schaller is gritty and can chip in. Nash and Kuraly, not so sure they can.

Not sure I'm on board with this characterization.

Yes many of us were on alert when he was a free agent as he had Marty Lapointe, David Clarkson, etc. written all over him. His points were due in large part to his linemates, and everyone knew it. The thing is the Bruins actually paid him less than what some talking heads expected,
Problem is the Bruins gave him the most money, other GMS knew what he was. He admitted the Bruins had the best offer.

You havent' heard?

Wanting any sort of skill on the 4th line automatically means you're a big fan of Austin Czarnik.

Good thing he hasn’t seen my Khoklachev jersey.

Seriously though, no way should Beleskey play over Schaller at this point.

Schaller has played better and is more deserving of being in the line-up than Belesky at this point in time.

agreed, I am one of the minority here who seems to have little issues with Schaller

Now, that said, I think he`s replaceable but he still doesn`t deserve some of the vitriol he receives here IMO

i said to sit him, but maybe he will mesh well with Backes. they are about the same speed (except for like 2 rushes last year where Backes was flying all of a sudden), and play rather similar styles.

This where having an owner who will spend is nice, sure JJ may allow the Bruins to spend near or up to the cap, but he probably won't let them send him to the AHL. Best case scenario is we can deal Beleskey and Spooner for a depth dman and late to mid pick without out any other assets going out. If that cannot be done, then put Beleskey on waivers and hope he gets claimed, if not then it is AHL time.

Imagine having a useful player for 3.8M? You can also add the dead buyout money to Seids and Hayes. That's 6.5M wasted this year.
That's why you are better drawing and developing Connor Brown or Danton Heinen than signing David Clarkson or Matt Beleskey

I liked him his first year in Boston,Had no problem paying him 3.8 but don't know what has happened to him.Not convinced he is ever going to get his game back.

No way they expected the big 3 forwards all to hit at the game time in 17/18. The kids have made him useless and that's a good thing. Props to the coach for playing the best guys and not the "safe bets" like Claude would always roll out. If Claude were here Schaller and Beleskey would be your 2nd and 3rd LW

Nope.

He might play Saturday; depends on how forgiving Cassidy is of Sean Kuraly.

I think Kuraly can be sent down without going through waivers. If that’s the case, swap Kuraly for Cehlarik and keep Beleskey off the ice.

I think Kuraly could use some AHL time but who plays C with Krejci and Spooner out?

Only option I can see is moving Schaller in the middle-short term.

I think the narrative that he was good in his first year with Boston is WAY overstated on here. I've never been impressed with his play in the spoked B. Sooner they find a way to dump him, the better.
