Like? Because LA should be all over that
A RHD would make sense.

So would a top-6 F who was more of a two-way guy with grit, size and goal-scoring. Even with the addition of Guentzel, the Canes remain heavy on playmakers and somewhat light on shooters.

Most likely though, we just keep Necas unless his contract demands are unfeasible.

A deal around Danault for Necas?

It depends on Carolina and how far they go. Making it to the finals suggests they are willing to sign Jake for say 8 AAV, They have the cap space to sign Necas if around say 6 or so. But D men may command 7 each and now you are running out of runway. They can sign one of the UFA, not both. Carolina will have cheaper options in the LD and maybe Burrows next year and go that route. Petts will be extended since Pens will have cap space in 2026 up the kazoo.

This is such a dumb post. Drafting two superstars doesn’t mean there wasn’t a rebuild. You just be moving the goalposts.

What was it, five years after 66 was drafted before they finally made the playoffs. Jagr was drafted on a team on the cusp of winning a cup.
