Wow. 2nd line opportunity for MPS right off the bat. Here's hoping he works out.

He was a free pick up.

So "works out" could mean a few things.

He could "find himself" in Ottawa and earn a roster spot.

He could play well enough to attract the attention of a playoff bound team that is looking for some depth and Ottawa receives a draft pick.

He could occupy a roster spot long enough, to allow a prospect to become "over ripe instead of under cooked" in the AHL.

He was a free pick up.

Enviable... I used to look at a lot of teams D and be a little envious , but I could always come back and think that EK tipped the scales, he was the difference maker... It's harder to feel that way this year

I like that they are giving Paajarvi a shot with Brass and Dzingel. Lots of speed on that line, Paajarvi will bring some size and defensive consciousness as well. Dzingel has, for all intents and purposes, blown me away with his play recently so it will be interesting to see if they can form a legit offensive unit.

If he’s cheap I think he white and maybe chlapik or formenton could form a very fast bottom 6 unit that could wreak havoc.

Even Paajarvi pageau pyatt wouldn’t be horrible.
