Two takeaways:
1) I didn't even know they were playing, but good they won again.
2) Timmins has 10 points in 14 games?!?!

Solid game again for 1st time in quite some time folks .. Timmins can't come out he brings a strong puck game and solid defensively .. Lily and Sandin were a bit off .. Rielly looked a bit better (good sign he is improving his conditioning when he feels he can go back to PP1) .. Gio again looked good again (very likely was his partner) .. Holl was ok again (stayed in his capabilities) .. Murray was fine (made saves he needed to make) .. overall all forward lines contributed .. I can see Keefer is likely gonna take out Lily when Brodie comes back which would be a mistake it should be Holl .. but overall much better game of hockey

Good to see the Leafs bounce back over the weekend and take care of business the way they should against inferior opponents.

Felt the same if you sub the Patriots in for the Packers.
Jets killed me though(as expected):thumbd:. I will now forever hate them for that.
Zany, but I knew we were pooched when we needed the Jets to win.

Hopefully this means Matt Canada is fired and they strengthen th offensive line . Nice seasons for Pickett, Pickens, and Najee and reason to be optimistic a better season is coming next season.

Just not good enough now though.

We've been spoiled over the years. Going into the season, I never would have believed they would have finished 9-8 with a playoff shot on the last weekend.
Disappointing but I'll take it. I'd rather they go out with a win than get spanked by the Bills again next weekend.

I can see them challenging Cincinnati for the Division next year.

Agree on the Torts take.
He's a guy that did a thing one time. Clearly it was 'lightning in a bottle'.

That is what (way) above average puck movers do. They end up with points because their first pass allows other guys to generate directly from it.

At least Toronto is having a great regular season so they can first make the playoffs.

Would you rather see them with a record of 18-18-3 with 39 points and in 24th overall like Ottawa is. During the offseason they were expected to be a playoff contender due to the "Summer of Dorion".

Next time the Leafs play the Wild, I want Murray to knock the net off every single time the Wild enter the zone, just so I can witness Russo having a full blown meltdown on Twitter.
