This one is on Helle. With the amount of injuries the Jets have, they have basically 0 margin of error. Jets in their current state cannot win a game where your goalie gives up 2 really bad goals in the first 10 mins of the game. Forget the deficit, it gives the other team opportunity to just sit back, collapse in the neutral zone and make offense even more difficult than it already is for the depleted Jets forward corps (which is exactly what the wild did). Helle could easily have let in even 1 or 2 more goals, I counted 3 posts/crossbars.

The Jets had 3 PPs to the Wild's 1 and the Jets generated 1 shot in all that PP time. The 2nd unit should not see the ice on the PP. Play the first unit 2 mins and let the checkers out after that to give them a rest.

The Jets played as well as they could with the talent that they have. They have three top nine forwards, and they're all on the same line. A top three and a bottom nine is a very bad problem to have. The Wild have virtually all their big guns, and they looked barely better than the Jets. f***ing hate moral victories. Jets are on a three-game losing skid. It's not going to get better until they start getting people back.

No, we are not hanging this on Bucky. He's been the backbone of the Jets for the last 4 years, and has stolen more games than he cost. Anybody blaming him can f*** off.

worked hard, couldn't bury our chances, let a couple softies in, when your second best offensive line is kuhlman/stenlund/axel you won't win many games, and f*** this horse shit reffing, how you decide to not call the highstick or even reeves holding at the same time is beyond me

Risky to wait for health. Beating a dead horse here but damn, we need a 2nd line RW and we needed it like a month ago.

Connor a warrior out there at the end.
Huge missed call.
Reaves should be gooning in the ECHL.

Hard to score with that line up.
Off night for Helly and Scheif.
And that’s all it took.

Onwards and upwards.

This is what I said back when Ehlers went down. They were already thin on RW, and had a surplus of D. I wanted them to trade some of that surplus for forward help. Now look at what we have.

There is a really good chance we miss the playoffs this year without any help

Just because we get everyone back in a few weeks doesn’t mean they are all playing their best .

We could be out of a playoff spot by the time everyone’s back and then keep falling as they are trying to get into game shape
