Calling this a fail now with the 2nd round stipulation (if SJ does not sign Kane). Hope I'm wrong but not eating no sandals.

Whats there to like? The pick in 2019 or the one in 2020? Forever in rebuild? O'Reagan has 1 goal in the NHL at 24.

Here's the condition of the first-round 2019 pick in the Evander Kane deal: if the Sharks re-sign Kane, it's a first; but if Kane walks into free agency, it's a second-round pick in 2019

AJHAHAHAHAXHHAXHAXHAXHAXH BOTTS WHAT THE **** DID YOU DOOO????
Eek. That's a downer.

Our media is so god awful, ive seen at least 2 say O'Reagan, its O'Regan right?

Also for everyone upset about this, we all know how selfish Kane is as a player, dont you think everyone else knows this too?

Annnd the condition isn't lottery protection -- it's based on Kane re-signing. So kind of a nothingburger of a trade unless Kane signs in SJ.

I think Kane will like being on the West coast and in California, here's to hoping he meshes in the room.

Duthie sounds like a moron right now, it was never multiple 1st rd picks as the ask.

Not sure why people care about it being next year. A 1st is a 1st, probably be around the same position.

I hoped for a better prospect. The return was about pretty much the lowest acceptable return. So Botterill didn't strike out with this trade, it's an ok trade.
Striked out with me but I am glad some of you are happy, O'Regan has to be the most disappointing return for Kane I could imagine and the conditions on the picks are disheartening. It must feel even better being a Rangers fan.

f*** f*** f***...

Hey on the bright side, if SJ resigns him and they flop next year it could be high?

*Incoming lottery protected conditions too*

Ha, pretty terrible return unless There s more to O'regans that expected. Kane' s production dried up as did the market. Oh well...

At this rate it's gonna be 2025 before this team makes the playoffs.

Botterill is the most underwhelming man in the world.

Hey, all, how's that initial ask looking now? I heard it was very well justified cause you aim high to get a high return. Wonder how that's working out, eh?

Hartman returned a 2018 1st. Let that sink.
