Hopefully we can rally around the adversity and ride it out!
this is sports writer and fan fiction.
players don't go in the locker room and declare that they'll outplay another team because of injuries and them having more heart.
eventually, skill is needed. coaching, a system and "heart" only take you so far.
losing Kane, though? while he's played better point-wise as of late, i'd rather lose him than 60% of the other forwards we have. this has been his forgotten season.
@mnwild: Mikael Granlund has successful surgery on fractured wrist, expected to miss approx. 4 weeks. Read more: http://t.co/t6ioV3zLWK #mnwild
4 weeks is pretty quick for wrist surgery. Wasn't Bogo out 4 months in the lockout year?
...you must know that the same part of the body can have different injuries
OK, this isn't funny any more.
How long can the Jets continue to hang on?
I was wondering...
With all our injuries, might there be an advantage down the road once everyone is healthy? Most guys in the NHL deal with niggling injuries that build up across the season. A long injury stretch gives all that a chance to heal up. Once everybody is back healthy, and the rust shaken off, could that put us in a better spot to deal with the rigors of post-season play?
Anyone know the scoop on when the injured Jets are going to return? It's Jan.4, and Bogo and Enstrom were supposed to be back mid January. Are they skating on regular basis? Are they practicing? Any word on Kane? Trouba? Stuart?

From the Free Press:
"While Bogosian, Enstrom, Stuart and Trouba all skated before Jets practice on Friday, Maurice said Stuart and Trouba are still out until February at least and even a best-case scenario won't see Bogosian and/or Enstrom return to the lineup until the end of January at the earliest."
But there have been other quotes hinting at an earlier return. I don't think we will know until the last minute when one of them gets inserted back into the lineup. We should start a pool for which one is the 1st one back and the date. I call Enstrom, Jan 13th against the Panthers.

Bizarre reporting. Maurice's actual quote was along the lines of mid to late January for Bogo and Toby and late January to early February for Trouba and Stuart.

Clitsome now day-to-day. Rumor was it might be a heart issue.
