I remember the Vanek year he came on this board posting his usual stuff and that stopped very quickly because of how much we called him all out.

That said, it amazes me how frequently we on these boards argue both sides of an argument when it suits us. We rushed this player, but we've held back that one. We're all Andy Sutton defined experts here.

Why does this kid generate so much drama. Mad skills but difficult to coach, and skill alone doesn’t work in the nhl. Guys with 1/10th his skill find a way to grind out a career just by doing the hard work and listening to coaches, he is gonna be robbie Schremp at this rate

would rather compare him to Nino than Schremp. Even if he doesnt pan out as a star player he surely can mold into a fine NHLer, but not with poor Isles GM/coaching staff
