Apparently Quick flew back to LA... I assume Jones will get called up.

Darryl Sutter, on Jonathan Quick's status: "I didn't really check."

@DennisTFP 3h
Only conceivable explanation for Darryl Sutter not checking on Jonathan Quick injury in OT - too busy selecting Trevor Lewis for shootout.

To be fair to Sutter, the Lewis choice did work for him before.

Mike smith scored a goal this year, should the yotes use him in a shoot out too? Quite frankly, Smith has a better shot at scoring again this year before lewis does.

Goaltender Martin Jones backing up JF Berube this morning in Manchester... then, Jones will join the #LAKings in New York.

Time for some of the leaders getting paid the big bucks to step up their game and carry the team for a bit.

We're vastly underestimating the importance of Quick to the Kings. Not to mention should he lose a decent amount of games that would be two years of injuries. :scared:

Fortunately, Berube playing well in a VERY early game this morning in Manchester... baby Kings lead baby Ducks 3-1 (Andreoff, O'Neill (2)) vs. (Belesky) Victor Fasth in nets for Norfolk.

Ken Cail has mentioned multiple times that Jones leaves for NY after the game.

From source. Quick's injury last night is a VERY big concern. Another just now.said "could be roadmap changing." Hopefully not as serious

This makes no sense to me. You don't move around like he did in the case of a rupture or fracture. It looks like a strain, which is no big deal. I obviously don't know for certain since they won't tell us but I don't know how he would have a big concern injury and still be moving like that.

Apparently Jon Quick had a stroke last night. Holy f'ing nonsensical rantings. Seriously, what the hell does "roadmap changing" mean? Did the Kings just discover the Waze app for their smart phones?

Maybe the Kings can trade Ben Scrivens, Matt Frattin and 2nd for Bernier?
