Let's be honest, the only reason Gagnon was called up over O'Dell is because of his contract situation. The Jets want to see if they want to keep Gagnon in the fold.

Maybe the reson is that they (Chevy, Noel, Zinger) feel that O'Dell is better suited in his development right where he is playing big minutes in big situations down the stretch, developing and gaining experience, readying for next yeAr when they can use camp to take a serious look at him. while Gannon is older, probably getting his last shot, is playing pretty good right now, and is less concerning to have riding pine for the maqjority of the games he's in.
