Hutch Chinaski? :sarcasm:

How did he look against the Flyers?

Pretty non-descript game. He appeared to have served up Lecavalier's GTG on a silver platter, but some posters mentioned that he may not have even touched the puck.

He seems to make smart, safe outlet passes. The biggest knock on him is his skating, you can tell that he's a poor backwards skater. Heck, slow as molasses Lecavalier almost walked him in the first period.

#hcanes fan coming in peace. how's jay been doing for u guys? we kinda had mixed feelings about the trade (great guy//leader//teammate on one hand, over paid and not that good of a hockey player on the other)

still was sad to see a guy with young kids get traded across the continent an hour and a half before christmas.

anyway, he's a great guy so hope he plays well for u.

:)

Ah yeah. Good news is he only really has to be serviceable for a few months at a worst case scenario.

I think VdV made a great play from flat on his stomach to knock that soft pass by Kane back to Vinny. The first look it appeared that Harrison passed it to Vinny but no D man would make that mistake. VdV probably swept Harrison's stick which is why it looked like Harrison passed the puck.

He's been a decent replacement for Stu over the last two games. He had an assist on his first shift, so that was a nice start. Only heard the one between-period interview with him but sounded like a pretty sharp guy.

And hey, it's a winter wonderland here for Christmas! :)
