Hope to actually notice JVR this game!

Scrivens shake off the nerves, and Kadri keep playing with confidence.

Yup, hopefully Scrivens has settled down from opening night. I would assume that St Croix talked to him this morning or yesterday

Montreal offense was horrible, Scrivens didn't have to do much. The Sabres defense is their only weak area. Myers is sloppy at times, and Erhoff isn't what he used to be back with the Sharks. Regher is slower and slower, and well Leopold/Sulzer/Sekera aren't what you could do best. The Leafs should go after Robin Lehner.

How could you say Montreal's offense was horrible and not give credit to the Leafs D?

We completely clogged up the neutral zone, barely gave them a chance to enter the zone with the puck freely and made sure passing lanes were well covered.

Montreal sucks..we all know that, but it could have been much worse if we were playing with Ron Wilson as our coach. It was going to be a shootout.

GJ on the GDT.

I still think we need to have Steckel in the lineup. Given that a crap load of goals have been scored on the PP around the league so far, and our faceoff woes against the Habs, he'd be a lot more useful tonight than seeing Orr on the ice for 5 mins.

How the **** did MacArthur get an "A"?

Toronto's defense was huge, no doubt about it, but i'm worried about Scrivens. Let's see him against a better offensive squad.

I know it's early, but this game will go a long way in determining whether I'm rooting for the tank or for the playoffs. Obviously I would prefer the latter, so GO LEAFS GO!

Looks like there's a possibility of Fraser and Holzer getting in tonight for Leafs. Franson and Komisarek getting extra work after skate.
