My company works with hundreds of clients across all different industries. Almost all of them are open on MLK day (which means we have to be open to support them). Only ones off are the government clients and defense companies. That’s probably a bit skewed for various reasons but I’d be surprised if more than 35-40% of workers in this country have MLK day off. Definitely not “most.” So I’m in the camp of not being a fan of a matinee game that day either.
