Vanek and gaborik don't look like a good fit cammy well I'm guessing there is some issues there but what about Jagr? He would seem to fit into la style the best or do they just hold onto what they have or get a dmen

Jagr is a great player but I don't think he fits our offense.

We play similar style as Boston. Jagr didn't do very well with them so I think I will pass.

Jagr would fit great into our system. His size and skill would make our top 6 a lot better. If we were to acquire him, itd best be sooner rather than later to give the team time to adjust to how he plays.

I thought he played good just in a third line role his stats weren't as good but played a strong possition game

Jagr is like and older slower Dwight King.

Yes Dwight King out scored Jagr in last years playoffs.

Jagr doesn't have a playoff goal since 2011-2012 with Philly.

Hell Trevor Lewis has more playoff goals then Jagr in the last 2 years.

Kings have enough guys that have trouble scoring.

Isn't the only west coast team Jagr has ever played for the Dallas Stars? I just don't see him coming this far west, and I'm not all broken up about it either.

I see Jagr running out of gas this year like he did last year. More games isn't going to help him. I like the IDEA of him with Kopitar for possession but I doubt the reality would be anything like the dream.

Wow I don't think you could ever compare the two it's simply disrespectful

If the price was right you could handle the situation right give him every 3-4 games off down the stretch but he would have to buy into it as well

I think DL will try to trade for an LW at the deadline but not Jagr, way too expensive for a rental and I think the pace of the Kings game and how hard they push it would affect him unless he was on the 3rd line with sheltered minutes.
I think Dl wants a more permanent fix for that side and I'd love to see Vanek with Kopi (he wont stay in LI, so they'll trade him by the deadline) but the price would be too high, same with Moulsen, I'd guess. There will be a few good options there and teams selling, esp in the Metro division, lots of golf bound teams there.
Fleischman might be a cheap option, his price tag wouldn't be as high.
I think DL wants to improve that LW but it's just a matter of how savvy a trader he can be and how patient.
Maybe he can call up his buds Homers and Hexy coerce them to deal Matt Read.

Get a LW option for Kopitar who can shoot the puck and also help the powerplay. I'm sticking with Cammalleri. The guy has proven to be a clutch playoff performer and he has the skills that the Kings need on the LW and on the PP.

It would require a 1st and toff to much I think

If Calgary can get a 1st and highly regarded prospect for Cammalleri, they should take that deal and run with it right now. I'm sure it won't be Dean that is calling to make that offer.

I don't think they'll get a prospect as good as Toffoli out of a rental. I mean, look at what they got for Iginla.

Traded to Pittsburgh by Calgary for Kenny Agostino, Ben Hanowski and Pittsburgh's 1st round choice (Morgan Klimchuk) in 2013 Entry Draft, March 28, 2013.

Hanowski was a former 3rd round pick who did fairly well at St. Cloud State and Agostino is a former 5th round pick finishing up his senior year at Yale who is also a decent point producing forward at the collegiate level. The first round pick the Flames received from Pittsburgh was the 28th overall pick, which they used to select Morgan Klimchuk.

None of those players are at the level of a Tyler Toffoli, and if that is the return they got for Iginla, I can't imagine them getting a better return for Cammalleri.

There's always a team willing to pay to make the playoffs for the extra revenue I don't think the Stanley cup is number one more playoff games more money let alone making them. What's two playoff games worth in revenue?

I wouldn't trade for a forward. I like the team and most importantly, it looks like the team likes the team. Inserting a Cammy doesn't fit with the Kings' MO. He's not going to grind it out, he's not going to backcheck, and he's not going to be part of what I was referring to during the 2012 run as "the meatgrinder." That's what the Kings are, a wave upon wave of big, defensively responsible bodies who wear you down and pot goals by committee. They are a system that has incredibly talented players who augment what is already there by using their talents for the system first. That's why we don't have PP "specialists" on this team. Everybody can take a regular shift. They're remembering who and what they are right now since Quick went down and when he comes back and gets his feet under him (I am expecting rust), other teams will be scared. The only team that comes close to playing us like us is St. Louis which is why last year was so bad. That first series was a war that would have taken St. Louis out of the long run had they won. The Kings are not a team you add parts to because the parts have stats on lesser teams. You only add a King to this team if he fits all of the intangibles first and contributes to the statistical hole you need filled. Those players are rare and not usually available at the deadline. I suspect we go with what we have and love the ride.

But that was iginla choice was it not I thought Boston had a better deal on the table? I guess the question I don't know is does cammy have a ntc that makes a difference
