Who needs those damn metric calendars anyway. We can mandate that Google and Microsoft put our calendar in their software so the rest of the world has to see it.

If the calendar was metric I think the units would be:

Year = kiloday
Month = hectoday
Week = decaday
Day = day

But the simplicity (including varying conversion rates) of the calendar screams imperial system to me.

I had to re-caulk part of my shower last night when the old stuff came out while I was cleaning, first time I've done any caulking and I think I did a decent job of it!!

I've done a lot of construction / repairs over the years. My only advice is to not go with the cheap stuff. Pay extra for the good stuff. There's nothing worse than sucky caulk.

I would think you would be more against caulk that doesn't firm up appropriately.

No, when it comes to caulk, being flexible so it doesn't crack is way more preferable.

Ended up going with a GE Advanced Silicone...hopefully that's a decent one
