If Buffalo agrees to take on Neal, are they just intentionally admitting they have no intentions of winning anytime soon?

That seems to be a great way to get Eichel to demand a trade.

When Eichel is healthy he might actually gets what he wants.

Hall to Edmonton? He might rebound and find his old magic. Hard to say.

That would be fugly for Holland.

No kidding. Would be idiotic to attach a premium asset to rid of Neal and trade for Hall when they could just attempt to sign Hall in the offseason and buy out Neal.
This seems more speculative than rumor so thank god for that.

Why wouldn’t the oilers just aim at Rakell if they were going to go for hall?

Get 2 years at a good cap hit. Ducks might actually consider taking back cap as they arnt really trying to win

As an impartial Canucks fan, hell yes.
Oilers could use another 1st OA to mess up, and it would open a playoff spot in the North Division .

Not a rumor, it was from Burnside's article on The Athletic titled, "6 NHL trade deadline deals I want to see happen"

From the original article:

This was such an awful article and it's written with the pass he gives himself here ^^

Seriously? That would be hilariously full-circle.
Now they just need to bring back Eberle and Petry, and heck, see what Yakupov's up to these days.
