Galchenyuk also started very strongly last season. Let's hope this time he stays consistent, because if he keeps playing like this he could be a PPG player for us.

At least we know this year the coaching staff has been vocal about having patience with him at center so I think we are in for a treat.

As for ice time, the season is a long grind, I can see ice time being shared all around and by looking at this game its been great. I've watched chucky line dominate, and then patches line came on and I thought "oh right yeah our 1st line".

He's having a good game, but he's being played too much at the detriment of Chuckie's line. If DD's line as to steal some minutes it should be Plekanec's line or Mitchell's line, not Galchenyuk's. Both line are overplayed for the way they play tonight.
