Didn't turn the game on till the 3rd period, but Forbort was directly responsible for 2 of the 3rd period goals.

Thank you!

The same people chewing Gibson out are the same people who defended Campbell when he let in more goals on fewer shots. Gibson was solid. Defensive breakdowns and bad puck luck led to the loss. He could've stopped the first one with the glove, but he had no support on the next 3.

Good confidence boost after CAN game disaster.
I think this was a mentally bigger win for us than
a loss for team US. The game against CZE will be
another nailbiter now. What a group it is!

Somewhere right now Shane Prince is laughing. Pretty awful chemistry displayed today by the Americans. That moronic Gibson penalty has to be the turning point. The Americans were really coming on, and that senseless penalty really seemed to take the wind out of their sails.

Disappointing to see all the Americans rush off the bandwagon. Their tournament is far from over. Russia started last year 0-2, remember?...

Much like Canada's loss to Sweden, if this American team has some pride, they can use this loss as a blessing in disguise.

Congrats to the Finns. Full marks for the victory. Opportunistic, played great in their own zone, and got the goaltending they needed. Great to see them bounce back after the disastrous first game.

only thing u can blame Gibson for is the penalty, even then, he was in the crease, and Granlund skated right into him and took a huge dive. It was a marginal call

Good game. The score doesn't really tell the truth here, we got some lucky goals today.

And Armia ends up with 2+1 :D And the second goal actually started from Armia winning a puck battle. Couldn't believe my eyes when it happened :P Seriously I hope he gets some confidence from this, he looked a lot better in the 3rd.

Our 1st line was still disappointing, IMO they've been getting worse every game...weird. But looks like we've found our starter, Aittokallio was solid. I really have no idea what to expect from this team.

the next 3 were all weak. 2 of them were scored without a shot being taken.

T..... And Finland probably got a bit of a confidence boost out of this game, which will now go to waste against Denmark.......
.

It can also be good for the first line as they got chance to practise their cooperate.

No, Gibson stuck his leg out. Yes, Granlund sold it. But if Gibson didn't stick out his leg there would be nothing to sell. Totally Gibson's fault.

LOL, no chance to stop a puck in off a teammates skate on the backside. The 2nd goal was more on Forbort then Gibson, it looked almost like he lost the puck off the skate. The last goal he should have stopped but game was over by that point.

Gibson didn't trip Glanlund intentionally. Not sure if he even saw him and that was indeed a dive by Granlund. Mikael Granlund turned the game around with this, eventho he had a pretty weak game overall.

Maybe Granlund was even looking for that and could predict the goalie might trip him when he saw he wasn't really watching. It's said Granlund thinks like he was 3+ years older than the other players of his age, so it wouldn't surprise me if he did it intentionally.
