Any news yet on Grigorenko? It looked very serious, it's just a shame. He was a slam dunk #1 or #2 overall pick this year.

TSN said the Russian team announced that it was an ankle injury and they are not sure if he will be back for the next game.

Not really much news there, I know.

26 shots, 0 goals for Latvia.
45 shots, 13 goals for Russia.

Rickufingdiculous.

Terribad PK, depressing shot efficiency, worst game of the tournament for Latvia so far, and I'm off to bed.

The Russian's passing has improved steadily throughout the game tonight. The one-touch passes are especially crisp in this 3rd period.

Funny when Canada scores 10 against Denmark, they're accused of being classless for running up the score. I haven't seen any posts saying that about Russia yet...

Keep in mind it was a Canadian that wrote that on the Canada Denmark GDT.

I think you keep playing until the final buzzer. if you don't want to be embarassed, play harder.

I can't blame the Russian kids for wanting to fill the nets and set some records.
