I think its great - considering teams knew we wanted to drop his cap and his disappointing season, I thought a 3rd was at most we would get.Fair price. Kind of cool that Greenway ends up back in upstate New York. Hope he thrives there.
Oh boy. I disagree with that statementAmazing, Greenway is one of the biggest disappointments in Wild history.
Not me. If Greenway breaks out all the better because he's in the East. Greenway was never going to meet his potential here.I still don't know what I think about this. I just get the feeling he'll find his game and we'll look back and wonder why.

I mean, there's Benoit Pouliot... amongst other really high draft picks that did absolutely nothing.Cool.

Depends on what you mean by nothing. Pouliot had a decent career but didn't live up to his potential.I mean, there's Benoit Pouliot... amongst other really high draft picks that did absolutely nothing.
He was fine/more than fine the 3 years prior to this one, at the contracts he had at those times. His current contract would've been fine if had maintained that this year.Greenway is like a toxic relationship. You keep giving second chances to a guy who never really turns out to be what you thought after the honeymoon phase.
Huge disappointment.
It's grading on a curve, 4th overall vs. 2nd round pick.Depends on what you mean by nothing. Pouliot had a decent career but didn't live up to his potential.
I won't ever wonder why. It was on him. He wasn't motivated.I still don't know what I think about this. I just get the feeling he'll find his game and we'll look back and wonder why.
