Yeah, and Kuzmenko is definitely not lazy - I think he might be a bit stupid, which is unfortunate given his obvious toolbox.Boeser was absolutely lazy and was continuously called out on it the previous two seasons.

Please do one for Kuzmenko
Was in the building for this one. Good teams win even when they're not on their game. Plenty to point out but they've been mentioned plenty already.
Lafferty is so good at the little things you need a guy in his position to be good at. He's a fantastic forechecker.
Garland was buzzing all night as well.
Very good post MJL. And even playing as he is, I know Mikh isn’t going to phone it in. It’s a rough patch for him, but he still provides something for the team.
Fun atmosphere these days, don’t you think?
It's something else in there. Even put the fun of winning aside, the GameDay presentation is incredible. Also the jumbotron is unreal. The pictures don't do it justice.
Mik Im giving a full on pass for the entire season.Yeah it wasn't just the turnover. His effort on the goal against was bad. There were several other moments where he didn't have his legs and looked lost. The biggest problem is he has no identity. He's not contributing in any meaningful way. Him and Mikheyev are eating up over 10m in cap space and not doing anything. If there's any surgery that still needs to be done on the roster, it's creating a dependable 2nd line.
that was how it looked to me too40 9 43 6 are passing the puck around Kuz on pp1 btw
Whoever is making these is doing the Lord’s work. I get a chuckle every time.
MXC was the best
The biggest problem is that free style hockey doesn’t win you shits in this leagueNot a firing on all cylinders type of win but a win nonetheless. Offense seems to die on Mikheyev's stick a fair bit. Not seeing a lot of difference ability wise to Lafferty atm.
Despite a terrible game by Kuzy, I haven't given up on him. The skill level is there, but the confidence is shattered and I think it's leading to mental blunders. I don't think he looked this bad defensively under Boudreau with his freestyle type of play but I could be remembering things wrong.
I think he needs to play with a capable forechecker that can retrieve the puck and deliver a pass to him in the slot. Not seeing that from Mikheyev right now. It looks more like Kuzy is forechecking more often than not and even when Mikheyev does retrieve the puck, he's incapable of making a play with it. I'd like to try Kuzy with Hogs and see if there is some chemistry there.
As a Yotes fan that is funnyIf we face the Coyotes in the playoffs, Boeser gets his goal back, and then some!

Wouldn't Soucey be a better comparable? Tryamkin was never overly fast, aggressive on the pinch, physical, or mistake-prone, from what I remember.Zadorov is a model of what Tryamkin could have been.
