It would really surprise me if Greiss gets the start. Kölzig won't play tomorrow that much is sure, Krupp already said that he would play against the Czechs, Italy and Switzerland, but not against Canada.
He didn't say anything about the Finland-game, so unless Kölzig isn't playing in that one, there is only one game left for the other two goalies and I simply can't see Krupp letting Greiss play ahead of Müller.

That is was said by MSNBC team. They also said that since its an international competition that when a penalty shot is awarded, you are allowed to select the skater to take the shot.

I watched it for the first time the other night. I found it disturbing yet tantalizing. The statue-esque pose they keep after releasing that damn stone...eerie!

Did anyone notice if Elias got hurt??? Hasn't played in the third. :dunno:

He wasn't on the bench at game's end.
Of course the commentators didn't notice it.
Hopefully nothing serious!

Really nice game by Kolzig. Totally kept Germany in it. Very impressive.
Great job by Vokouuuuuuuuuuuuuun too. And would it KILL the U.S. announcer to pronounce his (and Kaberle's) name as Toe-mahs rather than Thomas?

You should be! No Hasek = No chance to with the Cup!

I think the loss of the #1 goaltender on any NHL team is pretty much a farewell to a cup run.

It crossed my mind that they might have been trying to keep him fresh, but the game was not undecided.

We'll have to see, how the bad the injury is. I hope that Hasek will on the next plane to Canada.

If, Hasek is seriously hurt, then I can see the Senators dealing for goalie around the deadline. Guys like Toskala or Roloson come to mind.

haha, i know, i was just looking for an excuse to throw that bit out there.

i find it somewhat amusing when a star athlete has the last name "excellent"
