Welcome to the Jungle
Steen makes it 4-1
From Duran and Lohrei
Do you think Steen is showing he might have another level he can achieve or do you think he is on an AHL lifer. At one time I thought he was going to be a middle 6 player in the NHL but I had kind of soured on him after his appearances last year and this.

Safe to say last night was Duran's best game as a pro. Hopefully he can build on it.

It sure seemed like Lohrei was tired of being cooped up in the press box as he was jumping up into the rush every chance he got...and doing a good job of making sure it didn't lead to chances the other way. He made a few too many turnovers for my liking (including a bad one in front of Bussi late in the 3rd) as he tends to over-stickhandle a bit -- but he brings a dynamic element to the team that is needed.

I liked Nelson's game again.

Last 6 weeks were such a waste for Lohrei, what did he play, maybe 5 times?
Edit: looks to be 9 games

way too quick rush to judgement after watching the clips from Duran this week -

could be nice to have a duran, beecher, freddy, geekie, coyle, brazeau up and down the bottom 9. a bunch of big dudes who are either good on the puck or fast or both
