Absolutely do not want Kadri on the Jets. We have finally arrived at a solid 1-2. Kadri is a scoring centre, with poor defensive habits, who is awful at face offs, not overly physical either. He'd be a downgrade from the role Jokinen is playing. Gardiner is interesting, but I'm not sure what the asking price would be.
In passing Carlyle is a winner, period. That's his pedigree. He's made Phaneuf a complete defenseman. I'm not a Leafs fan, but I can see that he will not allow his centres to be lazy. He won a Cup with Mc Donald as 2, and Pahlsson as 3, Bolland and Mc Clement aren't far off, only Bozak is no Getzlaf.
