Bergy, Marchand and Pasta are the best line in the NHL.

Referees could have called penalties on Tampa for embellishment, Vasilevskiy crossing the red line, Paquette zig-zagging Carlo to the ice from behind, and a Tampa player throwing punches at Backes from the bench.

The referees let a lot go from both sides this game. If this is the kind of reffing we'll get in the playoffs where only blatant penalties are called, sign me up. Great win for the Bruins.

I agree nhl refs stink but I didn’t think tonight’s refs were that bad (I even think they managed a lot of the chippiness pretty well). So am I wrong? I mean pick any NHL game and refs are likely going to be bad but I’m used to that bad to the pint bad feels normal.

Yeah, a Bruins player would’ve gotten a call for embellishment on that high stick every time. Marchand’s “no-goal” celly on the EN was such a dagger.
