Nikitin's pass to Prospal through the air, from behind his own net to the opposite blue line when the puck landed right on Vinny's stick... That was really impressive. He didn't get an assist, but that pass set up Joey's goal.
NikNik became terribly underrated on these boards. He went pretty fast from "he can't play without Tyutin" (which always was a laughable statement) to Prout's mentor and defensive anchor.

Agreed. After Nikitin's slow start everyone was calling him out, now he's kinda forgotten even though he's rebounded well.
