Yeah that win was not luck for sure. Ducks deserved the win. Wings came to play far too late and the Ducks were tired by then anyway and still pulled out the W.

Leason has become a really valueable player for Anaheim. Their best PKer IMO. I hope they retain his services.

I also like that he can somewhat fit in on a scoring line in a pinch. Ideally, he’s on the 4th line, but once in awhile he can get thrown up there with better players.

Agree, Carrick and Leason are perfect 4th liners. Leason is obviously significantly younger though.

We might, one of the years where it's murky who the number 1 pick is and there's 3 or 4 guys that could go #1. The more clear cut the top pick is, the higher the chance a big market gets it... at least that's what it feels like.

Because we're only a little over 1/3 of the way through the season, have proven we can hang with teams much higher than us in the standings when healthy, and the prize for being worst in the league this year is nowhere near what it was last year that incentivized tanking

There is absolutely zero need for the team to even think about tanking this year we're winning games without 3 of our top players and another solid middle 6 center, this team should be focused on doing as well as they can even if playoffs are a longshot, this year should be about taking things to the next level and showing some improvement.
