Jackets are averse to cross-ice passing and movement on the PP. They just toss it around the circle, to what effect I do not understand. It's like they are envisioning some perfect quick pass to someone who doesn't exist.

They might want to try taking the speed governance off their passes if they want to move players out of position with only passes.

The PP is just too spread out, and so they make these long slow passes that are easy to predict and the other team is adjusting to them very easily, and so no lanes are opening up.

Part of the issue with this game is that the Coyotes have been extremely physical - almost overwhelmingly so. Making it extraordinarily difficult to get any chances going. They've kind of borrowed our game approach of old in that regard.

It allows us to come up with more and more creative ways to express "shit". Like "I could have 5 drunk bar boys dress up in a mariachi band ensemble and traipse around the ice with the chance to produce a better result than that last powerplay!". That one was gold, feel free to quote me for all time, haha. (Qualifier: I realize that was lame to the n-th degree)
