Preds will win this not because of quality of play but plain and simple officiating in their favor and a lucky bounce. It should give the Avs some confidence in this series knowing favorites will be played and they kept up.

What sucks about the chant is, that it is always against the goalie. If they vary it a bit actually taunting the player who made the mistake, it would be great.

Bernier also played surprisingly well, good experience for the young Avs to face a top team and gain experience
Thought Girard would get absolutely killed out there but he was really good aside from the Forsberg goal

Good game, Preds. Can’t say I’m too surprised by the outcome. Honestly, I’m just proud the Avs were able to keep it competitive for the first two periods. This is a fantastic learning experience for the young Avs squad. Especially against this Preds team.
