They did say this was their 3rd game in 4 nights. Maybe they were just gassed. They looked pretty disinterested.

It was a mistake to protect Petrovic over Smith and Marchessault though. Petro is playing 11-13 minutes now only in even strength.

It does seem strange, not like there's going to be a huge traffic jam with a crowd like this. If it was a full 20k, then yeah it would make sense with the score being what it is.

Great goaltending kept us in this early. Nice to see the third line click like that. They'd get more ice time if we didn't have so many penalties.

We won the special teams battle tonight which turned this game to our favor.

Ekblad still looks shaky. His first two periods were solid but the third wasn't as good.

When does Tallon sign Brickley to an 8 year contract? /s

Swapping Dadonov and Vrbata could help both lines. First line over passes, Vrbata will fix that quickly. Trocheck can't sustain much in the o-zone because McGinn isn't much of puck possession guy and Vrbata shoots immediately. Dadonov could be a nice compliment to Tro and McGinn.

The shot count is deceptive. So many came from the PP.

We are one LW away from being dangerous.

Great Game and a good overall Game against the Blues end their 4 Game winning streak.
Still one thing to mention cause it totally shines out. Dadonov and McGinn still not in the Panthers Game not even in the Game.

And now we had the Problem we spoke about, if you put Vrbata on the first Line. There is no chemistry on the second Line. Cause McGinn doesnt fit the Trocheck Game and Dadonov need more time to find the best Teammates to play with.
But to move Vrbata on the 1st Line makes sense, when you have two passer on the Line and no one shoot the Puck.

What now Bench McGinn or Haley to open space for Tippett or Malgin and make the 2nd line real fast with Tro/Dad/X???
