Yes.

The plan should be about building a team, not losing as many games as possible.

Goaltending is one of the most important positions, unless it's severe over payment we should hold onto Bernier.

Edmonton needs a center as much as we do. I bet no team with either 1-2 in this draft would elect to trade the pick.

I don't think any GM in the league, East or West conference is going to trade a decent goalie to Edmonton. Especially if they end up with McDavid or Eichel.

Edmonton's going to be on their own to solve that problem.

Certainly not Buffalo. But you might be able to get that 2nd OA for Phaneuf + Kadri + Bozak/Gardiner/JVR/Bernier. It's a lot to give up though, not sure people would have the stomach for it.
